BACKGROUND

Sherilyn Lawson is a professional SAG-AFTRA actor who has over 30 years experience on both sides of production. She costars and helped produce Not Dead Yet that screened at Le Du Marche, Cannes France 2010 and won best feature film in both RIFF & BWFF in 2009. She has many TV appearances-most recently in the series Grimm & American Vandal. She had a recurring role on the CBS crime series Under Suspicion with Seymour Cassell, Ann Rule’s Dead by Sunset with Annette O’Toole and Lifetime’s Fifteen and Pregnant with Kirsten Dunst. Films include Extraordinary Measures with Brendan Frazer and Kerri Russell, Feast of Love with Morgan Freeman and Greg Kinnear, What the @#$%^ Do We Know with Marlee Matlin and Gus Van Sant’s feature Elephant. She has extensive work on local & national commercials as a Make Up/ Wardrobe Stylist. She has a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon and studied with the British Theatre Association in London. She has studied Sanford Meisner’s technique, culminating with an intensive with Mr Meisner in Los Angeles. After working for years in the Pacific Northwest Film industry, Sherilyn has relocated to Southwest Virginia.
